ABOUT MUSEUM
The Museum of Saint John Paul II the Great in Cracow, in the White Seas (Białe Morza), has been operating under the wardship of the Centre from 1 March 2020.
The mission of the Museum is, inter alia, preserving, commemorating and promoting knowledge about the life of Karol Wojtyła, about His papacy, intellectual legacy, which accords with the cultural heritage of Poland and the whole world.
The exhibitions of the Museum, modern in terms of their form, presenting unique exhibits, including pieces of art, primarily the so-called “Papal gifts” are a unique, artistic testimony of faith, gratitude and creative inspiration of the Person of John Paul II the Great.
The museum is a space for communing with history, beauty and culture – it is a place to promote these values within the contemporary generations.
